Claim your airport or your business
Every US airport has a live SkyReady page with weather, runways, and FAA data. Claiming lets you keep the parts the FAA doesn't publish current: fuel prices, fees, hours, and services. Run the whole field, or one business on it — an FBO, a flight school, an avionics or maintenance shop — and claim just your listing. Free, no catch.
What you can manage
Claiming the airport covers the field's own details and every business listing that no business has claimed for itself:
- Fuel providers and prices. Every seller on your field, each with its own prices — self serve and full serve quoted separately, the way pilots compare them — and notes ("card reader down this week").
- Hours and attendance beyond the FAA's published schedule.
- Contact details, courtesy car availability, and one short remark for visiting pilots.
Claiming a business covers your listing and nothing else — on a field with three fuel sellers, none of them can touch a competitor's numbers, and once you claim, the listing is yours alone (the airport manager can no longer edit it either). If the manager already listed you, your claim takes over that same entry rather than creating a duplicate:
- FBOs and fuel sellers: your own fuel prices, ramp fee and waiver terms, phone, and website.
- Flight schools, avionics and maintenance shops: your link, phone, and a short description pilots see on the airport page.
Everything you set is labeled "airport management" with a date, right on your airport's page. FAA sourced data (runways, frequencies, pattern, airspace) stays FAA sourced; nobody can edit that, including you.
How verification works
There are two ways in, and the one you get depends on what we can check without picking up a phone.
Every route starts the same way: submit the claim with your website and a work address at that domain — ops@yourfbo.com, not a personal gmail — and click the link we email you. What happens next depends on what's already on the page.
Already listed, same website → straight through
If your business is on the airport page with the website you just proved you receive mail at, editing unlocks the moment you click the link. Nobody calls you. That website was on the page before you got there, which is exactly what ties you to it.
Not listed yet → we create it, same day
No airport manager has to add you first. Your claim creates the listing itself — name, category and website — and one of us gives it a look before it publishes, usually within a day. After that, your website is the anchor, so nothing about the next claim is manual.
Airports, and anything that doesn't line up → by phone
Airport claims, and business claims where the domain doesn't match, go the old way: we check the FAA's published manager record and call the number the FAA has on file, not the one submitted. A confirmed email still helps — it's the first thing we look at.
Either way, your account can then edit the listing any time at skyready.app/account/manage, and the page shows the verified badge. Wrong number in the FAA record? Mention it in the claim and we'll verify another way.
Why bother?
Pilots already check your SkyReady page for weather and runway data before they fly in. Stale third party listings send them elsewhere for fuel; a claimed page puts your prices and services next to the data they're already reading, along with the free embeddable widgets and the printable kneeboard for your field.
