  • HS 1 Departure runway misalignment risk. Rwy 1L at Rwy 8L, Intersecting runways in close proximity to connecting taxiway. Aircraft cleared onto Rwy 8L from Twy H3 turn too far left, incorrectly lining up for Rwy 1L. Check heading indicator for correct runway alignment.

Takeoff, alternate and surface information

  • Takeoff minimums are published for KLAS. Standard is 1 statute mile visibility for one and two engine aircraft (½ mile for more than two) unless this section says otherwise; Part 91 operators are not bound by them but the obstacle notes apply to everyone.
